About Us

Thudippu

Thudippu Dance Foundation is a registered public trust (Reg. No. 167/IV/19) based in Kerala, founded by Indian dance artists Anjali Krishnadas and Ponnu Sanjeev. The foundation was established with the vision of making performing arts accessible and inclusive across all sections of society.

Thudippu serves as a vibrant platform to learn, perform, and experience diverse art forms. It was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the founders began offering digital classes and performances to keep the spirit of art alive. Since then, Thudippu has grown into a physical space—Thudippu Studio, located in Kochi. The studio is not only a training center but a fully equipped art hub, where emerging and established artists can collaborate, perform, and share their work with wider audiences. At Thudippu, art knows no boundaries—age, gender, religion, prior experience, or background are never barriers. The foundation is committed to creating a nonjudgmental, inclusive space that nurtures creativity and encourages cultural exchange. Driven by a sense of social responsibility, Thudippu actively works to platform talented artists from marginalized communities and underrepresented art forms—those often left unsupported by mainstream art institutions. We recognize the urgent need to build a more progressive and equitable artistic ecosystem that values creative expression from all voices, especially those historically excluded from the narrative of “Indian Arts.”
